Now celebrating 36 years, Eastport Maine celebrates the end of the summer with a salmon and seafood festival, paying homage to our local resources. Saturday features crab rolls and chowder, and the centerpiece of Salmon Sunday is the community barbecue featuring Atlantic salmon, raised in the cold waters of Passamaquoddy Bay and accompanied by Raye’s Mustard sauce, roasted potatoes, peas, homemade rolls, and a wild Maine blueberry dessert. We eat under the big tent with friends, neighbors, and visitors; gazing at the breathtaking view of bay just a few feet away. An informative boat ride to the salmon pens in Cobscook Bay is included in the dinner purchase price.
Come for delicious seafood, wine & locally brewed beers, enjoy live music by regional artists, explore downtown shops and fine craft booths, interactive exhibits, a youth fishing derby, a chance auction and more! Full schedule at: https://www.eastportchamber.net/salmon
