The Annual Porch Party Mamas Concert is on! This concert is always a blast; don't miss it!
Inspired by playing and singing each other’s songs at their porch parties, these established Boston-area musicians and singer-songwriters combined talents to create their brand of urban folk, country and blues. They took their act on the road and "Porch Party Mamas" was born. Upbeat and moving original songs accompanied by guitar, piano/accordion, fiddle and percussion give hoe-down fun a fresh sophistication. A sound montage of harmonies, clever arrangements and repartee take audiences away from it all. The Porch Party Mamas perform sold out shows from Connecticut’s Northwest Park to Maine’s Vienna Union Hall, with venues in between including Club Passim and The Burren.
The Porch Party Mamas are:
Felicia Brady-Lopez(vocals, piano and accordion)
Ksenia Mack(vocals, guitar and banjo)
Katrin Peterson(vocals, percussion and piano)
Tix are $15.
The Lightfoot Band are the original band members that recorded the many memorable hits and toured for decades with the late great Gordon Lightfoot. Throughout their years together the band toured internationally with Gordon – across Canada and the United States and to cities in the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia and more. The band includes veterans Rick Haynes on bass, Barry Keane on drums and percussion, Mike Heffernan on keyboards and Carter Lancaster on the lead guitars. The Lightfoot Band is proud to introduce Andy Mauck as their lead vocalist. Playing a Martin D18 6 string guitar and Gibson B45 12 string guitar, just like Gordon did, Andy has been a student of Gordon’s craft as well as his personal friend for almost 50 years. Come listen to the music of Gordon Lightfoot tonight, played by the band that knows how to honor him!
It’s not uncommon to find Maggie performing on stage with a list of iconic acts that has included Widespread Panic, Gov’t Mule and Charles Bradley, to name a few. The Shreveport born singer-songwriter spent the majority of 2013 and 2014 as the lead singer and front-woman for legendary New Orleans’ funk-band Galactic.
Spending 2015 on the road and in the studio, Maggie performed with her own band at a list of major North American music festivals including New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, Austin City Limits and Pemberton Music Festival to name a few.

From the remote island of Tiree to headlining festivals around the world, Skerryvore has skyrocketed to become one of Scotland’s finest musical exports. And it’s easy to see why. Their eclectic fusion of folk, rock, and Americana – with thundering drums and bagpipes, of course – is as rich as a single malt scotch. Since setting sail, Skerryvore has performed in over 25 countries and scooped up Scotland’s “Live Act of the Year” award – three times. With their distinctive mix of fiddle, accordions, pipes and whistles, alongside guitar and vocals, underpinned by driving bass, drums and keys, Skerryvore fuses outstanding musicianship with pure joy. They are one of our favorites and bet they will become one of yours too. Sponsored by the Cowan family and anonymous fans of Skerryvore!
