Jan 11 Sunday
This American Legion Post #36 Breakfast Buffet has been a tradition spanning many years now. Aside from a few minor unforeseen and unavoidable changes, most everything else remains the same. All who enter the Legion Hall doors on a Breakfast Buffet Sunday, will get a great meal for a fair price/donation, get to see old friends and/or family, or meet someone interesting for the first time. The menu items have satisfied many folks over the years, and I have no doubt that this year will be no different. So come and enjoy the Legion Buffet Breakfast this season, enjoy the food, enjoy the camaraderie, and learn how you (Yes, You) can play a key role in this year's breakfast season - or next year's season. There are a number of very important people who make these breakfasts a success each year, if you have any interest in becoming a volunteer or member of the breakfast crew - ask for the least important person in the mix (Christopher) when you arrive for breakfast. These breakfast buffets take place every other Sunday starting on April 2, 2025.

Begin the year with a gentle reset designed to nourish your energy, calm your mind, and reconnect with your sense of inner harmony through the grounding wisdom of the chakras. In yogic anatomy, chakras are the energetic hubs that weave together our physical, mental, and emotional worlds, guiding how we move, feel, and connect. This New Year offering is an invitation to soften into stillness, listen inward, and honor your body’s need for warmth, spaciousness, and care.
We’ll open with grounding breathwork and a guided chakra meditation, creating a cozy container for reflection and alignment. From there, you will be guided into a slow, intentional Restore-based chakra practice, blending gentle movement and supported postures to ease tension, release stagnation, and open areas in need of attention and flow.
After the restorative practice, you’ll transition into the Recovery Cove for a deeply soothing Sauna Glow experience - a warm, meditative immersion that supports detoxification, nervous-system regulation, and the integration of the chakra work. The heat and stillness of the sauna offer space to further unwind, and welcome renewal from the inside out.
This workshop aims to leave you grounded, nurtured, and connected as you step into the year ahead.
