A patient with COVID-19 linked to the outbreak at a wedding in the Millinocket area has died.
In a written statement, Millinocket Regional Hospital says that the patient, who had been hospitalized, died Friday afternoon.
On Thursday, the Maine CDC reported that 32 of the approximately 65 people who attended the wedding reception at the Big Moose Inn August 7 had contracted the virus.
The hospital says that it has tested 366 individuals. Results are still pending on 103 tests.
