BIDDEFORD, Maine — State police say they are still working two identify the two men who died in an apparent shooting in a Biddeford, Maine, apartment.
Maine Department of Public Safety spokesman Stephen McCausland said Monday that neither man appeared to live in the building. He said they were 37 and 42 years old.
McCausland said Biddeford police were called to an apartment house on Western Avenue for a shooting around 7 p.m. Sunday. One man died at Maine Medical Center and the other died in an ambulance.
McCausland said detectives worked the scene overnight.
Both bodies have been transferred to the medical examiner's office for autopsies.
