A Massachusetts man was charged with drunk driving after crashing his 2006 BMW into a police vehicle on I-95 south near Kennebunk. 33 year old Anthony Menici was charged with OUI, Driving to Endanger, and possession of Suboxone early Saturday after striking a police cruiser from nearby Wells Police Department, which slightly injured two officers, and sent Menici to the hospital.
The impact caused the cruiser to roll over and land in the passing lane on the northbound side of I-95. The other vehicle crashed into the median guardrail.
Both the BMW and the cruiser were demolished.
