Central Maine Power is reporting 270,000 customers have had their power restored as of 4 p.m. on Saturday. That leaves just under 100,000 still without electricity.
CMP said it had more than 1100 line crews and nearly 600 tree crews working to restore damage Saturday.
The utility said it hopes to restore most of its customers this weekend, but acknowledges some hard hit areas may not be back online until Tuesday night.
Versant Power is reporting 66 customers without power as of 4 p.m.
The utility said it expects to have those customers online sometime Saturday.
