The Day of Hope raises critical funds for MaineGeneral’s Harold Alfond Center for Cancer Care. Every dollar raised goes directly to supporting the cancer center.
Activities for the day include:
• An inspirational ceremony honoring our cancer community, featuring our own cancer center employees and breast cancer survivors, Heather Moore and Arlene Mclean.
• The 1.8-mile Walk for Hope through the University of Maine Augusta campus.
• Meet & Greet with cancer center staff.
• Health screenings, cancer and prevention education, integrative therapy sessions, cooking demonstration, Kids Zone and more!
