Martha Spencer is a singer‑songwriter, multi‑instrumentalist and dancer with deep roots in Appalachian tradition. Her group, the Wonderland Country Band, includes Jamie Collins (bass & vocals), Lucas Pasley (fiddle, banjo, vocals) and Jake Dwyer (percussion, washboard, dance). Together they blend old‑time Appalachian music, country, bluegrass, ambling blues, and even touches of jazz and songbook‑style tunes, evoking both tradition and a fresh spirit.
From California honky-tonks to Nashville stages—and everywhere in between—this band has wowed audiences at the Topanga Banjo Fiddle Festival, Buck Owens’ Crystal Palace, Ashkenaz Center, the Oklahoma Banjo Museum, and on Song of the Mountains on PBS. Their upcoming tour will take them even farther, with performances lined up across Canada, Ireland, and Europe.
