Kick off the summer season at Strawberry Day at the Norlands. Enjoy strawberry shortcake, make ice cream, have hamburger picnic, games and activities and a concert by the Sandy River Ramblers. Buy your tickets now at norlands.org to reserve your delicious meal and desserts.

Our activities and times are:
Strawberry Shortcake Served in Mr. Washburn’s Kitchen 12 - 7 or until it runs out ($5)!
Ice Cream Making - churn and eat - homemade ice cream ($5) The cranking starts at noon, 2pm & 4pm
Hamburger Picnic 5:00pm until we run out or 7pm - ⅓ lb locally grown hamburger from Boothby Farms with a homemade bun and all of the fixings, local Potato Chips, Coleslaw, Watermelon and a beverage - Maine Roots Soda, Ricker Hill Sparkling Cider (non-alcoholic) and other sodas. ($20 adults, $10 kids)
Sandy River Ramblers Concert 6pm - 8pm in the barn or on the lawn.
School in the Schoolhouse - come experience School in 1870 including doing declamations, practicing penmanship with a dip pen and showing how well you make your manners! At 11:30, 12:30, 1:30, 2:30 & 3:30
Civil War Camp - Enlist as a Livermore soldier in the Civil War, learn to set up break camp, try eating hardtack and learn to march like a real soldier! At 11:30, 12:30, 1:30, 2:30 & 3:30
Stories in the Barn with Mercy Lovejoy - Hear entertaining stories of old Livermore from the town pauper, Mercy Lovejoy, interpreted by Willi Irish. At 11:30, 12:30, 1:30, 2:30 & 3:30
Mansion Tour - see the first floor of the Washburn Mansion and learn about the Washburn family. At Noon, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm & 4pm.
Dancing in the Barn - learn classic 19th century dances with our expert instructors. At Noon, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm & 4pm.
All Day -
Games on the Lawn - Badminton, Croquet, Graces and more
Games on the Porch - Learn to play Euchre and Backgammon
Peek in the Library and the Church
Hike on our Trails * Visit Bartlett Pond
Bring a lunch picnic if you wish... and note that the concert and Hamburger picnic are officially BYOB... ice chests, chairs and blankets are welcome.
