“The hottest acoustic Irish band on the planet” (Irish Echo) makes its annual return to the Camden Opera House, 29 Elm St., to welcome the season with traditional Irish music. Cillian Vallely (uilleann pipes and low whistle), Kevin Crawford (flute, whistles and bodhran), Trevor Hutchinson (standup bass), Colin Farrell (fiddle and whistle), Patrick Doocey (guitar) and special guest Dave Curley will fill the House in a concert sponsored by Camden Maine Stay Inn and 40 Paper. Celebrating its 5th year, Sounds by the Sea began in 2021 to foster community and enjoyment of live music in our cherished park. This free, family-oriented six-week summer concert series occurs on Mondays at 6:00 pm, starting after Independence Day. Concerts rotate between the Bandstand and the Picnic Shelter, made possible by the generous support of local business sponsors.
