This is the 16th season of Concerts at Norcross Point, a free concert series on the shores of Maranacook Lake. Participants can bring current, knitting, crochet, sewing, embroidery, weaving, felting, all things fiber and needle projects and work in conversation with each other.
Special guests will introduce new techniques.
New to all this? We will provide supplies, beginning instruction and materials for you to try.

REALLY is a play about mourning, intimacy, and the conflict between goodness and greatness as seen through the lens of photography.
Yi Qun Xu, winner of the New York International Artists Cello Competition, has been praised for her “masterful technique” and “rich tone” (The Day). A sought-after soloist and chamber musician, she has performed at Lincoln Center, Marlboro Music Festival, and internationally.
Jessica Xylina Osborne, a pianist of exceptional versatility, has performed at Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, and alongside stars like Hilary Hahn and Ani Kavafian. With a passion for social justice in programming, she highlights historically marginalized composers while celebrating classical masterpieces.
$30 admission per person or $10 per student at the door. We accept cash, check, credit card or Venmo.
A free chess club open to anyone over the age of 10. All levels of experience are welcome. We have boards, but feel free to bring your own.

Come try out water polo with Southern Maine Water Polo! We are a club that welcomes all newcomers. The only requirement for the sport is that you are an experienced swimmer. We will help to teach the fundamentals of the sport throughout practice. Expect a fantastic workout while playing this fun sport! Make sure to check out our website for any changes to our schedule. We do not practice on holiday weekends.
Scottish Country Dance is the ballroom dance of Scotland, done in longwise sets of several couples. We meet weekly to learn and enjoy the dances. All dances are taught. We recommend soft soled, flexible shoes. Bring a water bottle. There is a beginner/preview session at 5 p.m. by request. Note, we do not dance during the month of December.
