Witness the exciting changes fall brings and build your ecological literacy with Fields Pond Audubon Center’s Homeschool Naturalists program! Designed for children ages 6-14, this engaging series will start as a whole mixed age group, then break into age based investigation teams to dive deeper into that week’s theme!
Together, we’ll:
Study the magic behind fall leaves,Explore fall seed dispersal and native plant life cyclesStudy the role of naturalists in identifying trends and patterns in our natural world.Learn how the local habitat prepares for the coming winterAnd more!Each session combines outdoor exploration, guided hiking, and nature journaling to deepen your connection with the natural world.

Join Owlbear staff member Kass to play a game that can be completed in one session. Thursdays: The Teach Series! Owlbear staff member Drew will lead a variety of games so that you will know how to play them with friends in the future! Ages: 14+ $10 at the door

Young children and their grown-ups are invited to spend an hour exploring nature together through stories, songs, art, and play. Ages 2-5, drop-ins may be available upon request, please call for availability.
Something Witchy presents The Witching Hour each Friday featuring Tarot Readings $25 for 15 minutes with Joyce Halliburton. You don't need a reading to come in and peruse our enchanting little witch shop in the basement of Portland's Old Port. Call/Text Joyce directly at 207-494-0205 to book your reading or walk in. We'd love to have you see our little witch's cupboard under Exchange Street.

Calling musicians of all levels! Please come and join us on the second Saturday of each month from 1:00 to 3:00 pm for a community - based open mic session. All levels and musical genres are welcome as are individuals, duos, groups, whatever. This will be an all - acoustic session but there will be a small Fishman amplifier and microphone available on an as needed basis.
Our open mic group shall endeavor to provide a fun and judgement free opportunity to share our musical offerings with others. Original compositions as well as covers are welcomed. Please pass the word to friends and let's create a community where we can gather to play, sing, laugh, learn and get to know our neighbors. The event shall be by donation ($2 suggested) with all proceeds going to The Gatherings.
