Who Should Attend?

This program is designed for Maine-based female entrepreneurs at any stage of their business journey.

From February 2nd to February 14th, create a Valentine’s Day card at the Lewiston Public Library! Free supplies and crafting space will be available for adults on the 2nd floor and for children on the 3rd floor.

A visual exhibition, " Outside In" with Judith Allen-Efstathiou’s work including copper sculptures made from reused, vintage copper from the Maine as well as cyanotypes, lithographs and drawings.
For First Friday October 3 and November 7th from 5- 7:00pm the artist will be at the gallery and is happy to discuss her work with visitors
The exhibition runs until November 20 and is open 24/7
on the lower level of the Press Hotel below reception.

Moosestompers Weekend in Houlton, Maine, is a cherished winter festival that brings the community together for a weekend of frosty fun and heartwarming camaraderie. At Community Park, the giant Soap Box Derby Hill becomes a playground for all ages, with thrilling sledding adventures that promise laughter and excitement. The Miller Civic Center transforms into a winter wonderland for ice skating, where skaters of all skill levels glide gracefully across the ice, surrounded by the festive atmosphere, while skate rentals and concessions are available. Fireworks and an antique snowmobile parade!

The spirit of Moosestompers Weekend is one of warmth and community, despite the chilly temperatures. Warm shop windows invite you to explore the storefronts and restaurants of Historic Market Square. Fun games and activities are designed to engage the whole family, fostering a sense of togetherness and joy. The festival is a magical experience, with the only thing that could make it more enchanting being the appearance of the northern lights or a gentle snowfall. As friends and neighbors gather to celebrate, the shared moments of joy and the picturesque winter setting make Moosestompers Weekend a highlight of the winter in Houlton.
