Join us for one of the best craft fairs in the area! Over 50 crafters will fill our auditorium and downstairs gymnasium spaces with a variety of handmade arts and crafts! You'll find holiday decor, fresh balsam wreaths and arrangements, sewn, quilted, knitted, crocheted, and cross-stitched items, delicious foods, photography, paintings, woodwork bowls and cutting boards, scented candles, soaps, unique jewelry of all kinds, pottery & ceramics, and more! Live music and caroling by our instrumental groups and chorus make this craft fair extra festive! Admission is by free-will donation. Support our Football Boosters, who will be preparing a delicious lunch. All proceeds benefit John Bapst students' experiences in art, drama, and music.
Come to historic North Pownal Center for our third annual Christmas Bazaar! Holiday shop with our fine artists, crafters, and vintage vendors and rest your feet in our cafe (Santa's Kitchen) with hot cup and a tasty treat. Tour the Festival of Trees in the sanctuary; you might just find one you'll want to take home!

Portland--Come Light The World!Have you ever bought a goat from a vending machine? How about warm clothing for a child, groceries for a family, or job training for the underemployed?
This year Portland will have that chance. From November 20 to December 10 visitors at The Maine Mall can purchase essential items like from The Light the World Giving Machine to help those in need in Maine and throughout the world.
The nonprofits featured in the South Portland Giving Machines include: Catholic Charities; Furniture Friends; Jewish Community Alliance of Southern Maine; Ronald McDonald House Charities Maine and Through These Doors.
The Bowdoinham Guild of Artisans is hosting its 21st Holiday Show and Sale in the newly restored Bowdoinham Town Hall as a part of a community-wide holiday celebration. Twenty artisans will be offering fine artisan gifts such as pottery, stained glass, fiber art, jewelry, woodworking, metal work, book art, fine art paintings and more. The annual Hour Exchange Bizarre Bazaar is now open to the public! Visit this holiday fair with free parking in downtown Portland to find nifty treasures and handmade crafts, delicious homemade lunch items, free entertainment, and a raffle for unique prizes. Join us on Saturday, December 6th for a fun and festive breakfast with Santa & Mrs. Claus at the Thomaston Municipal Building during Thomaston's annual Christmas Festival!
A light continental breakfast will be served (think pastries, yogurt, fruit) along with coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. And, of course, Mr. and Mrs. Claus will be there to hear Christmas wishes and take pictures!
(Note: volunteers will be on-hand to take pictures with your phone or camera, but there will NOT be a photographer on-site)
Two seatings are available: 9:00 - 10:00 am and 10:00 - 11:00 am. Tickets are $10/person and children under 12 months old are free. Seating is limited!
All proceeds will benefit the Thomaston Inter-Church Fellowship Food Pantry.
The Lewiston Public Library will be offering drop-in Preschool Playdates from 10:30am-12:30pm on Saturdays* in the Children’s program room.*(The Library will be closed on Saturday, 8/30 in observance of Labor Day & Saturday, 11/29 in observance of Thanksgiving.)
Drop-in and join us for Preschool Playdates! Preschoolers and their families are invited to stop in during our Preschool Playdates to engage in imaginative play and build friendships. A variety of toys, games, and crafts will be available during all sessions.
The programs will take place in the Children’s Program Room on the 3rd floor.
The programs are free and there is no registration required. All families with children between the ages of 2-6 are welcome to attend. Siblings are also welcome.
