LEWISTON, Maine - Lewiston police are still looking for a man who fired a gun in a McDonald's parking lot.
Witnesses said Thursday they heard at least one gunshot around 3:30 p.m. at a McDonald's in the city. Police then taped off a large area outside the restaurant.
WMTW-TV reports that one witness saw a confrontation involving a few people that was followed by a loud noise. The witness then realized one of her car's tires was punctured.
No one was hurt. Investigators have interviewed three people who were involved in the incident. The group told police the suspect confronted them inside the restaurant and then all four went to the parking lot, where the gun was fired.
Officials say the man who fired the gun apparently didn't know the other people involved.
