Recently The University of New England hosted a talk by Anouar Majid who spoke on the Past and Future of American-Muslim Relations.
Anouar Majid is the founder and director of the University of New England's Center for Global Humanities. Majid discussed what unites and divides the United States and the Muslim world, and the relationship between the two in the future. He is the author of a number of books, most recently Islam and America: Building a Future Without Prejudice.
