We also heard from two individuals who have worked with MTI and SCOREMaine and can offer firsthand accounts of how they were helped.

Betsy Biemann, President of MTI - Maine Technology Institute. She joined MTI after working as an associate director at The Rockefeller Foundation in New York City. In 2010, MaineBiz named Betsy to their NEXT List of ten individuals they think will influence the future of Maine's economy
Paul Dobbins, the President of Ocean Approved, an aquaculture company in Portland that farms kelp and other vegetables from the sea.
Nancy Strojny, Chair of the Portland, Maine Chapter of SCORE. She was honored as one of 11 White House Champions of Change for outstanding leadership in entrepreneurial mentoring, counseling and training.
