Maine's Unemployment Rate Unchanged In November

Maine's seasonally-adjusted unemployment rate in November was unchanged from the previous month, but up from last year at this time.Maine's unemployment rate last month was 3.4 percent -- last year at this time, it was 3.1 percent.

Maine's current rate is a little lower than both the national and the New England averages.

Unemployment in Maine has been below 4 percent for 3 years, the longest period on record that it's remained below that threshold.
