A restaurant in Monson has won a prestigious James Beard Award.
The Quarry restaurant, which specializes in Asian food, won in the category of Outstanding Hospitality, beating out finalists in Alabama, Illinois, South Carolina and Washington.
In February, the James Beard Foundation announced that another Maine restaurant, the café at Nezinscot Farm in Turner, was one of six winners of this year's America’s Classics Award.
