Today’s self-guided tour of fourteen homes invites you to explore at your own pace. You’ll visit private homes, local galleries, and gardens throughout South Bath, each with its own unique charm. From lush, naturalistic plantings to thoughtfully designed landscapes, there’s inspiration around every corner.

This year marks 54 years of SPI’s work as a volunteer-led nonprofit committed to preserving Bath’s architectural heritage. At the heart of that mission is the Winter Street Center, a beloved local landmark listed on the National Register of Historic Places. When it reopens, it will become the largest public gathering space in the Midcoast region—a place for connection, creativity, and community.
