Augusta Symphony Orchestra Spring Concert
The Augusta Symphony Orchestra will present their Spring Concert on Sunday, April 7 at 6 pm at the Cony High School Auditorium, 60 Pierce Dr, Augusta.
The concert will begin with Ludwig van Beethoven’s King Stephen Overture, followed by Peer Gynt Suite No. 1 by Edvard Grieg. Following intermission, the ASO will perform Beethoven’s Symphony No 8.
Augusta Symphony Orchestra serves as an educational and charitable organization through which amateur and semi-professional musicians have opportunities to perform great music and provide a public service by presenting free concerts in the greater Augusta area. Now in its 103rd season, the symphony is under the guidance of Music Director and Conductor Jinwook Park. An accomplished violinist, Mr. Park teaches at Colby College as well as directing the Colby College Symphony.
