Downeast Trout Unlimited: Bamboo Fly Rod Building with Bob Bechtold December 20, 2023 5:30 pm

Bob will share his experience building a bamboo fly rod and go through each step of the process.
Bob was introduced to fishing before entering grade school by his grandmother. He began fly fishing in the 80’s. A life member of TU, Bob is active in Downeast Trout Unlimited chapter 305. An active fly tier Bob enjoys the challenge of new patterns and continues to expand his fly-fishing skills. In May of 2023 he spent six days building his own bamboo fly rod.
