Nathan McClain, author of two poetry collections, a recipient of fellowships from The Frost Place, and Bread Loaf Writers' Conference, and a graduate of the Warren Wilson Program for Writers, will read at Blue Raven’s 4th poetry series event on September 24th at 7pm.

His most recent book, Previously Owned, has been called a “masterful collection, in which a speaker of nuanced intelligence and lush interiority reflects upon the American landscape, its pastoral and judicial and historical duplicity.”

He will be joined by California poet, Marsha de la O, author of four collections, winner of the Isabella Gardener Award for Poetry, and whose poems have appeared in The New Yorker, The Slowdown, as well as Best American Poetry Blog.
