On December 4 at Noon (preview) & 7:30 PM and December 5 at 2:30 PM & 7:30 PM join the ChoralArt Singers in our keenly anticipated return to the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception for our traditional holiday concert: Christmas at the Cathedral. The Singers, Portland Brass Quintet and a cast of supporting artists will offer sumptuous a cappella hymns from the Russian Orthodox tradition, familiar carols, one of which is especially arranged for this performance, the first live performance of Robert Russell’s setting of J. Barrie Shepherd’s “To Sing Again” – commissioned specially to commemorate our return to in-person concerts – and more.
