Josef Haydn's Mass in a Time of Anxiety
Down East Singers and Mozart Mentors Orchestra, under the direction of Anthony Antolini, present Josef Haydn's Mass in a Time of Anxiety, also known as the Lord Nelson Mass or Mass in D minor in their annual Memorial Day concert. Soloists: Erin Chenard, soprano; Jazmin DeRice, contralto; David Myers-Wakeman, tenor; John David Adams, bass. The concert will begin with Cecil Effinger's arrangement of "American Hymn", also known as "O Beautiful for Spacious Skies," for chorus, orchestra and audience sing-along. A light reception follows the performance.
