The Maine Attorney General is announcing a meeting of the Governance Committee of the Maine Recovery Council on Thursday, March 28th at 10:00 am, via Zoom. The Council’s work is to investigate the statewide needs for fighting the opioid crisis in Maine and to plan for distributions throughout the state of certain funds from legal settlements or bankruptcies to address the opioid crisis, including to 1) prevent opioid addiction; 2) prevent and reverse opioid overdoses; and 3) help Maine citizens recover from addiction.
