Movement at the Museum - Swing Dancing with Lindy Maine
Join Jen and Ray of Lindy Maine for an introduction to 6-count swing dancing. Lindy Hop (also known as swing or jitterbug) is the authentic Black American style of swing dancing that originated in the late 1920s and 1930s. You'll be learning the basics and dancing to big-band swing and traditional jazz by the end of the hour. Please wear comfortable low shoes that aren't too sticky on the floor and a well-fitting mask. No partner needed! This event is free and sponsored by TD Bank.
