The Penobscot Bay Singers will present their Pop Concert "Moonlight and Romance" at the Belfast United Methodist Church to benefit Family Harbor House. Directed by Kimberly Murphy and assisted ɓy Sierra Lary the chorus presents selections with the themes Moon, Light, and Love. Accompanied by joani mitchell with guest double bass Doug Kennedy music pieces include a samba style "It's a Grand Night for Singing" and familiar favorites "How High the Moon", "It's Only a Paper Moon", "I'm Beginning to See the Light", "Light", "God Only Knows", and "All You Need is Love" performed in upbeat and distinctive arrangements.
Half of the proceeds for the concert will go to Family Harbor Home under the auspices of Midcoast Maine Home Coalition with a suggested donation of $25. For further information contact penbaysingers@gmail.com
