In partnership with Scarborough Public Library, 10:00am story time will feature books about trees! Join Kelly under the Survivor Elm at the Scarborough Land Trust Pleasant Hills Preserve. The Elm is located in the field on the right hand side of the parking lot and can be reached with a minimal, easy walk to the mowed grass just past the kiosk. Please bring a blanket to sit on and be prepared for mosquitoes and ticks. At the conclusion of story time (10:30) join Kelly and her kids on a hike to explore the property. An ADA accessible trail will lead us towards the barn on the property for a mini nature lesson. Families wanting to explore onto the trails can continue on with Kelly or return on the same trail back to the parking lot.
