Pro tips for the berry patch! David Meuer is a 5th generation farmer from Wisconsin where he had a pick-your-own, 5-acre strawberry farm. He moved to Maine three years ago and continues to grow strawberries on a small scale, using his innovative underground drip irrigation system. Anyone who wants to grow great tasting strawberries will learn the basics of establishing a new berry patch: 1st year cultivation, overwintering, 2nd year harvest and renovation of the beds after harvest.
