The public is invited to attend a presentation Sunday, April 28, at First Parish Church of Brunswick, by distinguished professor Douglas Bennett entitled “Swearing, Seriously.” His talk will focus on the swearing of oaths, what we’re doing when we do (or don’t) do that, and what it means to promise to tell the truth.
