About the Film: TENDING THE TIDES – 25 Minutes – By Maine Mountain Media – Maine – TENDING THE TIDES tells the story of the nation’s first accredited Aquaculture Apprentices and Pre-Apprentices as they forge careers on the water. Through hands-on training and mentorship, these young sea farmers are gaining the skills and experience needed to thrive in Maine’s growing aquaculture sector, while strengthening Maine’s working waterfronts.

About the Panel: “Seeding the Future: Growing The Aquaculture Workforce Through Apprenticeship” features a panel of apprentices, host farmers, and program leaders who will delve deeper into the past, present, and the future of aquaculture workforce development programs, and the role they will play for Maine’s future.
