Join phME for a tour of the UMaine Orono Advanced Structures and Composites Center, which is dedicated to driving research innovation in Green Energy & Materials (GEM) to create a greener, more sustainable world while bolstering economic development in Maine and beyond. GEM is comprised of 8 research areas - Ocean Engineering, Civil Infrastructure Durability, Wood Composites, Advanced Structural Concepts, Large-Scale Bio-Based Additive Engineering, Cellulose Nano Composites, Thermoplastics & Smart Materials, and Structural, Materials, and Wind Blade Testing.
*Please note that ticket sales are nonrefundable and due to the nature of the lab, advanced registration is required and registrations are nontransferable. The deadline for registration is April 15, 2024.
