WATTS So Funny?!

WATTS So Funny?!

Get ready to experience a comedy extravaganza like no other at WATTS So Funny?! Hosted by the incomparable Emily Waterman Dillon, a true master of humor hailing from the Rockland area, you're in for a night of laughter you won't soon forget. Emily's journey into comedy is as colorful as it is captivating. By day, she's an insurance agent, but by night, she transforms into a comedic powerhouse, captivating audiences with her quick wit and infectious energy. Originally from South Thomaston, Emily is a self-proclaimed multilingual stripper for the blind and a former Navy wife, mother of three, and survivor of the Seven Circles of Hell. Her humor is her favorite language, and she firmly believes that the best jokes often come from the worst situations. Emily has shared the stage with numerous nationally touring comics, including Ryan Niemiller, Dulce Sloan, Donnell Rawlings, and Gilbert Gottfried. She is also the founder of Stingers Comedy and was voted Pensacola’s Best Comedian of the Coast two years running. Emily's unique blend of wit, charm, and fearless honesty will have you rolling in the aisles from start to finish.

Joining Emily on stage are some of the most talented and diverse comedians in the northern New England scene:

Adam Groppman: Adam grew up in the Boston area and attended Reed College in Portland, Oregon. Upon returning to Boston after graduation, he had a variety of experiences, including being lead singer in a rock band called Furious George, working for Lotus Software, and writing music journalism. But after taking an improvisational comedic acting class while living in San Francisco, he realized his mission in life is to be funny-- or serious. Or seriously funny.

Uzair Malik: An Indian non-immigrant Boston comic, Uzair has honed his craft across the country, from coast to coast. His accolades include being the Runner-up of New England’s Funniest Comedian and appearances in prestigious festivals like the World Series of Comedy.

Sara Poulin: Hailing from Maine and known for her radio presence on WIGY's The Breakfast Club, Sara brings her witty observations and quirky style to the comedy stage. With insights into divorce, dating, and therapy, Sara's comedy is as relatable as it is hilarious.

Lynda España: Towering (literally) over life’s absurdities with humor, Lynda España emerged mostly unscathed after growing up on the mean streets of Southport Island, ME and being the tallest person in her High School. Venturing beyond the tranquil shores of Southport, she found herself amidst the vibrant tapestry of San Francisco’s streets, where she earned her comedic chops, emerging as a finalist in the fierce Battle of the Bay Comedy Competition. Her comedic approach is a delightful blend of quirkiness, self-deprecation, and expertly crafted punchlines, or so they say.

With doors opening at 6:30 PM and the show starting promptly at 7:00 PM, make sure to secure your tickets early for just $20 in advance or $25 at the door. This show is recommended for ages 18+.

Plus, keep the laughs rolling with The Block Saloon on-site offering a cash bar to keep you refreshed throughout the evening. Don't miss out on the chance to experience the best in northern New England stand-up comedy at WATTS So Funny?!
