The Maine Maritime Museum volunteer corps invites you to learn about the opportunities for connection and service the museum provides.
Please join us on Thursday, February 26 in Maine Maritime Museum’s Long Reach Hall for light refreshments and conversation. Many of our 200+ volunteers will be ready and waiting to share stories about why they love giving their time to the museum and its community. Whether you’re interested in guiding tours or restoring boats, greeting visitors or blacksmithing, Maine Maritime Museum has a way for you to give back to your community.
The fair will be held from 10:00-1:00.
Admission to the museum is free for volunteer fair visitors. Additionally, current volunteers who bring a friend, neighbor, or relative to learn about volunteer opportunities can enter both their and their guest’s names for a chance to win two tickets for a cruise aboard the museum's vessel Merrymeeting!
