Her material centers on the joys of middle-aged domesticity and the benefits of sarcasm. She has performed in comedy festivals in Maine, North Carolina, and Montreal and was the featured comic of the 2025 Maine Women’s Lobby Hootenanny. Michelle was a semifinalist for New England’s 2024 Funniest Comic and is a regular on local lineups with the Portland Media Center, Gals and Pals, In Utero, and the Misfits. Please don’t tell anyone you know about this show. She’s kind of shy.

Mainers tend to take care of their own business, much to the chagrin of Gerard, the only cop on the island. When he finds evidence of foul play surrounding a recent death, things go hilariously amok and Gerard finds there's something sinister hiding behind the cozy vacation town he grew up in. The Festival of Trees is a cherished annual event that transforms the Waterville Elks Lodge into a winter wonderland, beautifully decorated with dazzling trees, each uniquely adorned with fantastic gifts curated by local businesses and organizations. Join us in the Children's Room for music, movement, stories, and more, for children and their caregivers. Families welcome!
Join us at Libby Library in OOB for a new recurring program that will let your crafty side loose! Starting this October, we’ll be hosting Crafternoons on the first and third Friday at from 1:00 – 3:00 pm! This program is designed for adult crafters.
On the first Friday of the month, we’ll be doing a guided craft with instruction to make projects and learn techniques like decoupage and scrapbooking. On the third Friday of the month, there will be no guided project. It will be time to work on your own crafty projects (bring your supplies!) in the company of other crafters!
We will also be establishing a craft swap shelf with this program, so if you’ve got leftover supplies from crafts that no longer hold your interest, you are more than welcome to bring them with you to the library for other crafters to try out!
This program is free, open to the public, and no registration is required.
