Union+Co is partnering with the City of Bath and Kennebec Estuary Land Trust to present a community screening of the debut feature film from local, Portland-based directors Kaitlyn Schwalje and Alex Wolf Lewis. The film will screen on January 29th 5:30-8PM at Union+Co in Bath.
Unless Something Goes Terribly Wrong, which had its World Premiere at the Camden International Film Festival (CIFF) in September, is a charming documentary that celebrates one of Portland’s lesser-known landmarks: its Wastewater Treatment Facility, and the workers who keep things…running smoothly. Unless Something Goes Terribly Wrong received the Fowlie Award for Audience Favorite at CIFF this past September, marking the first time a Maine-based film has taken home the festival’s top audience honor.
Post-screening, the filmmakers will join representatives and employees of Bath's Public Works facility for a Q+A about the film and wastewater treatment in Bath.
Tickets are by donation!
