Join Ferry Beach for some line dancing fun on Sundays from January to May!
Line dancing is accessible to everyone, fun for all, and no partner is needed! The focus will be on many different beginner dances, some simple and some more complex, but all appropriate for beginners and higher level dancers. Sign up for one, many, or on a bi-weekly or weekly basis!
Line dancing is a fun way to get some steps in, to enjoy dance and music and meet others from the community. All are welcome!
Please dress comfortably as we will get warm from dancing and be sure to wear shoes appropriate for dancing.Instructor: Joyce Bailey has been teaching dance since 1995 In the greater Portland, ME area. She has taught ballroom, Latin, and swing dancing, and more recently became hooked on line dancing!

March 8 at 2 PMJud CaswellOn March 3, Maine’s well-known singer -songwriter Jud Caswell will introduce several emerging Maine songwriters. While known for his own compositions and interpretations of vocal and guitar classics, Jud Caswell is also active in supporting and developing Maine’s well-regarded array of folk and contemporary singers and songwriters. In this special concert, Judd will present Maine’s latest talents as well as some of his own compositions.
With Grown from Roots, the multi-instrumentalist group Invoke takes listeners on a journey into the historical roots of the string quartet, roots-music influences present throughout the history of Western classical music, and the ensemble's own roots across a wide array of musical traditions. You'll hear works by Haydn, William Grant Still, Aaron Copland, Maurice Ravel, a world premiere featuring PCMF’s Artistic Director, violist Melissa Reardon, and more.

Our monthly spaghetti supper offers community and spaghetti (meat or veggie sauce), salad, garlic bread, and BUMC’s famous pies. Donation only. A portion of proceeds goes to MCHPP. We hope you will join us regularly.
Come try out water polo with Southern Maine Water Polo! We are a club that welcomes all newcomers. The only requirement for the sport is that you are an experienced swimmer. We will help to teach the fundamentals of the sport throughout practice. Expect a fantastic workout while playing this fun sport! Make sure to check out our website for any changes to our schedule. We do not practice on holiday weekends.
Scottish Country Dance is the ballroom dance of Scotland, done in longwise sets of several couples. We meet weekly to learn and enjoy the dances. All dances are taught. We recommend soft soled, flexible shoes. Bring a water bottle. There is a beginner/preview session at 5 p.m. by request. Note, we do not dance during the month of December.

Wondering about your family lineage? Drop in for genealogy help with volunteer Tim Lynch in the library's breezeway. Tim can help you with most things related to genealogy, including: ancestry.com, family tree construction, record keeping, digital resources, local historical societies and more. Tim is at the Falmouth Memorial Library most Tuesday mornings from 9:30-10:30 AM. Feel free to call the library at 207-781-2351 ext. 140 if you would like to check to be sure before you come.
Join the Lewiston Public Library for Baby Storytime in-person in the Children’s Department weekly on Tuesdays from 10:15am to 11:15am.
Recommended for children ages 0 – 3 years old and their caregivers.
Enjoy an interactive storytime with your baby that includes early literacy fun with books, songs, rhymes and body movement. Play and social time immediately follow the program.
This program is free, open to the public, and no registration is required. Siblings are always welcome.
