Learn the wonderful game of Mah Jongg! Join master player and instructor Judi Slotsky for this 6-session, beginner-level course, which meets Tuesday mornings from 9:00-11:00 PM, starting on March 24th.

Classes meet March 24 - April 28.

Tuition: $48 – JCA Members | $60 – General Public

Advanced registration required by Friday, March 13th.

Limited to 12 students. Minimum of 4 students required to hold the course.

A weekly gathering of friends, coffee, and games, for patrons 55 and up. Don't forget to ask for your FREE cup of drip coffee or tea. A part of our Community Thursday programming.

Drop-in Mahjongg game (every week when enough players rsvp and library is open).
All levels of experience welcome (beginners given instruction).
We play Asian/Chinese style (easier to learn than American mahjong & no need to purchase annual card).
We have multiple sets of tiles, so can accommodate extra players.

Join us at Owlbear's Rest to learn new games and make friends who ALSO love games!
Every other Wednesday: Weekly One-Shots with Kass! Join Owlbear staff member Kass to play a game that can be completed in one session.
Thursdays: The Teach Series! Owlbear staff member Drew will lead a variety of games so that you will know how to play them with friends in the future!

Join Us! We invite you to participate in our programs and events. Calling musicians of all levels! Please come and join us on the second Saturday of each month from 1:00 to 3:00 pm for a community - based open mic session. All levels and musical genres are welcome as are individuals, duos, groups, whatever. This will be an all - acoustic session but there will be a small Fishman amplifier and microphone available on an as needed basis.

Our open mic group shall endeavor to provide a fun and judgement free opportunity to share our musical offerings with others. Original compositions as well as covers are welcomed. Please pass the word to friends and let's create a community where we can gather to play, sing, laugh, learn and get to know our neighbors. The event shall be by donation ($2 suggested) with all proceeds going to The Gatherings.
