Mallett Hall (Pownal Town Hall)
06:30 PM - 10:00 PM on Sat, 13 Dec 2025
With the holidays in sight, stop right now and circle Saturday, December 13th, on your calendar so you don't miss the next Pownal Open Mic Night at Mallett Hall, 429 Hallowell Road, at Pownal Center.
Bring your guitars and glockenspiels, your bagpipes and banjos, your kettle drums and kazoos, your violins and voices.
Enthrall us with a story. Slam us with some poems. Crack us up with jokes. Lead a music hall sing-along.
You are welcome to use your phone or tablet as your back up band, just make sure you bring what gear you need. We do have a mic and a small sound system on hand, that's how badly we want to hear you!
The fun starts at 6:30 pm.
Performers of all ages are encouraged at this family-friendly evening. If you want to perform be sure to put your name on the sign-up sheet when you arrive . All are welcome at Mallet Hall.
The show is FREE and open to the public thanks to the Pownal Recreation Committee!
Please be mindful that this is a Chem-Free event. No alcohol or other intoxicants are permitted on town property. There will be soft drinks and snacks on hand.
If you have questions about gear or set up, drop hosts Michael F. Morin and Robin Hodsdon Morin a line at: michaelfmorin@hotmail.com.
Mallet Hall is located across the road from the Congregational Church at Pownal Center. There is a small elevator available in the lobby of the building if you need a lift getting to the second floor.
Caution: You may not get a kettle drum through its doors 🙂
We hope you can join us!
