UNE Student Occupational Therapy Association has teamed up with the Looking Ahead Clubhouse to bring a fun, insightful experience. We aim to create meaningful connections within the community and center this event around mental health awareness. There will be a variety of public speakers sharing their lived experiences, live music, food, silent auction and more activities! This event will take place on the University of New England, Portland Campus in the Eleanor deWolfe Ludcke Auditorium. This event is free so join us for a wonderful day of connections!

The Casco Bay High School Arts and Music Festival is looking for artists of all kinds to share art at this day long event on the CBHS/ PATHS campus. We will have performances, exhibitions, vendors, experiences (face painting, crafts, puppet shows…), and food for all ages. Follow the QR code for information on how to vend your crafts, perform, or simply attend and delight in the power of creativity. Or simply join us for creative fun.
The Lewiston Public Library will be offering drop-in Preschool Playdates on Thursdays from 3-5pm and from 10:30am-12:30pm on Saturdays in the Children’s program room.
Drop-in and join us for Preschool Playdates! Preschoolers and their families are invited to stop in during our Preschool Playdates to engage in imaginative play and build friendships. A variety of toys, games, and crafts, including a play tent with felt campfire, will be available during all sessions. The programs will take place in the Children’s Program Room on the 3rd floor.
The programs are free and there is no registration required. All families with children between the ages of 2-6 are welcome to attend. Siblings are also welcome.

Join us at Libby Library on Saturday, May 11th at 10:45am for the last STEAM Saturday of the season! The theme for May is coding, so come ready to learn and ready to play!
This will be the last STEAM Saturday of the ’23-’24 season, the program will resume in September!
STEAM Saturday is a monthly program held on the second Saturday from September to May. Each month will have a different theme that will be explored through books, crafts, science experiments, & more! Attend one or attend them all, and earn a raffle ticket each time to win a great science prize at the end of our 2023-24 STEAM Saturday sessions. Kids of all ages are welcome to attend, but the program is geared towards Pre-K through 3rd graders. We will have older & younger aimed material available if needed, so don’t worry!
This program is free, open to the public, and no registration is required.
The Legacy of Mentors Art Exhibit opens at the Maine Art Gallery with a reception on May 4 from 5-7 pm and continues on Thursdays-Sundays from 11am-4pm until June 9th. Free and open to the public, the two-floor gallery showcases artists as mentors to their students and represents the founding members of the gallery with their students' work from the 50's and 60's. The first floor gallery exhibits juried current members' work describing their own mentors' influence in their paintings. For more details go to www,maineartgallerywiscasset.org.
Join us at Paul J. Shupf Art Center in downtown Waterville or at the Colby Museum on campus to celebrate the season with gorgeous bouquets created by The Robin’s Nest flower shop. Two local florists will translate the works from Colby College Museum of Art's collection into their medium. Sketching materials will be available on campus, and watercolor supplies will be provided downtown for those interested in capturing flower arrangements' beauty on paper.
