STANDISH, Maine — Authorities say a family disturbance at a home in Standish Saturday led to the arrest of a man and a woman for manufacturing methamphetamine.
Maine Drug Enforcement Agency Commander Scott Pelletier says Timothy Schoubroek and his girlfriend Tressa Sprague were also charged with violating conditions of release on a pending theft charge.
Pelletier says five children were living at the home, which is owned by Schoubroek's mother. These included Shoubroek and Sprague's children as well as two who were living with their grandmother because their parents were charged a month ago with having a meth lab inside their home in New Sharon.
"The grandmother actually located items in [her] house that she suspected possibly could have been methamphetamine-related and immediately grabbed the kids that were in the house and told Timothy that she was calling the police," Pelletier says.
Pelletier says drug agents found evidence of two "one pot" labs in the house and two older labs discarded along the property's wood line.
