Tim Cowan, MSPH, is Director of MaineHealth's Health Index Initiative, and serves as MaineHealth's primary point of contact with staff at America's Health Rankings. He is an epidemiologist with an M.S. in public health. The Health Index he oversees here in Maine monitors a variety of health data to identify strategic opportunities for improvements in seven population health issues identified as high priorities.
