One of the highlights of the Portland Symphony Orchestra’s 100th anniversary season is its Magic of Christmas program. This annual tradition has been bringing festive music and holiday cheer to Mainers for 45 years. This year, the orchestra welcomes special guests, Cirque de la Symphonie, for a dazzling aerial collaboration.
We’re joined by the PSO’s Music Director, Eckart Preu, who tells us about the importance of music and musicians at this time of year and the impact of such a longstanding music tradition in our community.
