207 Beer Week SKORDO/Allagash/Thirsty Pig collaboration
SKORDO, The Thirsty Pig, and Allagash Brewing Co. Partner for Exclusive Tasting Event to Kick Off 2025 207 Beer Week
November 3 at 3:00 PM | The Thirsty Pig, Portland, Maine
Portland, ME — SKORDO, The Thirsty Pig, and Allagash Brewing Company are excited to announce a special collaborative tasting event on Monday, November 3 starting 3:00 PM at The Thirsty Pig in Portland. The event celebrates the launch of 2025 207 Beer Week and highlights the creative spirit of Maine’s local food and beer scene.
Guests will enjoy a house-made sausage crafted by Allison Stevens of The Thirsty Pig, featuring SKORDO’s brand-new Alehouse Rub—a small-batch spice blend created to honor 207 Beer Week and New England beer culture. The sausage will be expertly paired with Allagash White, the iconic Belgian-style wheat beer.
The SKORDO Alehouse Rub showcases classic beer-forward flavors with notes of coriander and orange zest, rounded out by a subtle, smoky finish from Urfa Biber chilis. This savory blend was designed to complement beers like Allagash White and elevate hearty pub fare.
This tasting marks the official launch of 2025 207 Beer Week, which runs from November 1 to November 9 and the sausage is available all week. Additionally throughout the week, Allagash Brewing and SKORDO will donate $1 to the Maine Brewers’ Guild for every Allagash White sold at participating locations, helping to support and sustain Maine’s independent craft brewing community.
