Acadia Choral Society Spring Concert
Our Spring program for 2024 is centered around John Rutter’s Requiem. This piece is a musical setting of parts of the Latin Requiem with added psalms and biblical verses in English, completed in 1985. It is scored for soprano, mixed choir and orchestra or chamber ensemble.
We will also be singing three Madrigals by Emma Lou Diemer, Alleluia by Elaine Hagenberg, and three pieces by Samuel Barber.
