This year Alexandra de Steiguer completed her 28th season as winter caretaker on Star Island, one of the nine Isles of Shoals. She was the sole human inhabitant during the five deserted winter months. An acclaimed black & white photographer, author, and musician, Alexandra will share her images, music and musings on solitude and community in the natural world. Her multi-media presentation will be followed by Q&A and a book and CD sale.
