Saturday July 26, Fiona Davis talking with partner and fellow author Greg Wands
Novelist Fiona Davis is on the New York Times bestseller list for the second time with The Stolen Queen. She is the wildly popular author of eight historical fiction novels set in iconic New York City buildings, including The Chelsea Girls, The Magnolia Palace, and The Lions of Fifth Avenue, which was a Good Morning America book club pick. She first came to New York as an actress but fell in love with writing after getting a master's degree at Columbia Journalism School. Her work has appeared in The Wall Street Journal, Oprah magazine, and elsewhere, and her books have been translated into over twenty languages. She also fell in love with fellow writer Greg Wands. It helps that they write in slightly different genres: Davis in historical fiction and Wands in thrillers. They bounce ideas off one another as they work on their respective manuscripts, and co-wrote an audio novella, "The Gimlet Slip" published last summer.
Greg Wands is the internationally bestselling co-author, along with Elizabeth Keenan, of three thriller novels under the pen name E.G. Scott, the first of which (The Woman Inside) was optioned for television. Their books have been translated into a dozen languages and their latest title, Trust Issues, is now available in the EBH Library and Blue Hill Books. He currently at work on a solo novel.
Speakers' recent books will be on sale for autographing after the Q and A sessions.
