Celebrate the beginning of autumn with a guided trail run through Highland Farm Preserve! Trail running is a fabulous way to get exercise AND to connect with nature at the same time. Join runner and expert naturalist Dan Gardoqui for a 2-hour, moving tour of Highland Farm Preserve. This is a beginning class open to all. No experience necessary. We’ll take a leisurely pace, walk up steep sections and incorporate a few short breaks. No one will be left behind. Learn all about trail running gear, techniques, etiquette and more during foliage and bird migration season.

Dan Gardoqui is a Registered Maine Guide and lifelong educator of all things outdoors. A long-time partner of York Land Trust, he’s completed many trail races including 50K & 50 mile ultramarathons. Dan is excited to share his passion for ecology, wildlife and wellness routines.
